- Personal & company information: legal company name, USDOT, EIN, email, phone, mailing and (when required) business address, and other details needed to process your order.
- Vehicle information: VIN, unit number, plate, state, weights, and related truck details.
- Payment information: collected and processed securely by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
- Account information: login credentials and order, truck, and payment history tied to your account.
- Support messages: contact form submissions and call-back requests.
- Newsletters & alerts: an email address and/or phone number submitted separately for NY HUT newsletters and text alerts.
- Usage data: limited technical and analytics data (including cookies or tools such as Google Analytics / reCAPTCHA when enabled) to operate and improve the Site.
2. How we use your information
- To process permit orders and payments.
- To create and maintain your customer account (including sending a temporary password when a new account is created).
- To send order receipts, status updates, and support replies.
- To send requested NY HUT newsletters, renewal reminders, and related service updates.

- Submit filings and related data to New York State agencies for your permit.
- Process payments through Stripe.

Card payments are handled by Stripe under Stripe’s privacy terms. Contact, call-back, and newsletter forms may use Google reCAPTCHA v3; Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to that check.

We keep order, vehicle, payment, and account records as long as needed for business, tax, audit, support, and legal purposes.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data (subject to records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons) by contacting us using the details below. You may unsubscribe from newsletters by emailing support@nypermits.com.
